Z-H.O.P.E.
Z-H.O.P.E. (Zetas Helping Other People Excel) is the international outreach initiative of Zeta Phi Beta Sorority Sorority, Incorporated. Through this program, members are committed to empowering individuals and strengthening communities by addressing critical needs related to education, health and wellness, economic empowerment, and social advocacy. Z-H.O.P.E. reflects the Sorority’s mission to uplift people from all walks of life through service that nurtures the mind, body, and spirit.
March of Dimes
Zeta Phi Beta Sorority Sorority, Incorporated has maintained a national partnership with March of Dimes since 1971. Each year, the Beta Alpha Theta Zeta Chapter proudly supports this partnership through fundraising efforts and active participation in the March for Babies, raising critical funds and awareness for prematurity research and maternal and infant health.
A Legacy is Born...
Zeta Phi Beta Sorority Sorority, Incorporated was founded on January 16, 1920, on the campus of Howard University. Established on the principles of Scholarship, Service, Sisterhood, and Finer Womanhood, the Sorority was created to foster academic excellence, promote community service, and cultivate meaningful connections among its members.
Through its international initiatives, including Z-HOPE (Zetas Helping Other People Excel), the Sorority continues to uplift and empower individuals through programs focused on the mind, body, and spirit. These efforts reflect Zeta’s ongoing commitment to addressing the evolving needs of communities both locally and globally.
As the Sorority advances beyond a century of service, it remains grounded in its founding vision while continuing to strive for excellence.
